The course on beginning guitar is for those who have never played the guitar or have played previously and wish to refresh their playing skills. Course topics include: fingerpicking, strumming, chord progression memorization, tab and chord chart reading, beginning songwriting, and guitar maintenance. Emphasis will be on developing a strong foundational technique and teaching yourself to
learn songs.

Materials: Paper and pencil or pen. Extra guitar strings and a phone tuner or a clip on tuner.
