This foundational pottery course focuses on wheel techniques designed for beginners. It covers topics such as wedging, centering, coning and the creation of small ceramic pieces such as cups and bowls. The class also will cover shaping, attaching elements such as handles and decorations, scoring and slipping, smoothing and blending, as well as glazing and the firing process. Includes: 25 pounds of clay and glazes.
