Prerequisites

Prior to enrolling in Photography: After the Basics, you must have completed the specified prerequisites (if you have not taken a prerequisite, you can click on the catalog code link to see a list of upcoming course sections):

Photography Introduction
For experienced camera users only who want to improve skills & get creative! Hands-on workshop format: studio lighting; print-making, special effects & techniques; mat-cutting/framing; in-depth critiques & portfolio review. Develop a portfolio of 10-12 images: portraits, events, landscapes, macro, abstracts, fine art prints. Use of/access to manually adjustable D-SLR camera and flash. Materials: TBD at first session.
Introduction to Latin
In this course, you will learn the basics of Latin vocabulary and grammar through reading and conversing in the language of the Romans. We will read stories of Roman history and mythology, as well as more modern stories to show the versatility of this ancient language.
