This foundational pottery course focuses on wheel techniquesdesigned for beginners. It covers topics such as wedging,centering, coning and creating small ceramic pieces such ascups and bowls. The class also will encompass shaping andattaching elements such as handles and decorations. Studentswill practice scoring, slipping, smoothing and blending as wellas learn about glazing and the firing process. Includes 25pounds of clay and glazes.
